The story started with young Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) adopted by the Persian King and years later, he and his foster brothers Garsiv and Tus lead the Persian army in an attack on the sacred city of Alamut. It’s where the mythical Dagger of Time was kept.
The storyline was pretty unpredictable, well probably because I didn’t play the game. It has some humour included, making the movie funny at certain parts.
Definitely a recommended movie for the fantasy-adventure lovers. The ending was a unexpected - a little too perfect. But since it's a Disney movie, we all know that "the prince and princess lived happily ever after" at the end.
